We had an absolute blast celebrating April Fool's Day with our EES kids! They were brimming with hilarious jokes and playful pranks. One student, in particular, took us all by surprise with her masterful April Fool's prank. She truly outdid herself! 😄
Hope you had a fun day too!

Our 3rd graders began their ELA State exams today. This morning, our school sent them lots of positive vibes, and we wanted to share the wonderful artwork and encouraging messages they created for themselves. Keep up the fantastic work!

Our Math Night was a tremendous success, filled with engaging math games, activities, and resources that families and students thoroughly enjoyed. We were thrilled to have over 125 attendees. The PTO truly outdid themselves, providing a delicious snack and refreshing Shirley Temples. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our teachers who went above and beyond to support the learning of our community.

The EHS music programs had a great showing at the KSHSAA Regional Solo and Small Ensemble Festival in Larned on Saturday. Entries included eight instrumental solos, two instrumental ensembles, three vocal solos, and three vocal ensembles. The performances were rated by judges on a scale from I ("one") to V ("five"), with I being the best. Out of 16 EHS entries, 11 received a I (outstanding) rating, and five received a II (excellent) rating. Musicians who received a I rating will advance to the KSHSAA State Solo & Small Ensemble Festival on April 26 at Southeast of Saline HS.
Congratulations to the EHS music department and participating musicians for their accomplishments! Good luck at state!
