WHAT OUR STAFF ARE SAYING ABOUT USD 327

Why Ellsworth?

When coming to Ellsworth I was surrounded by a supportive community of people. Mentor teachers stepped up and made me feel welcomed, community members came out of the woodwork to assist me in building the Agriculture Education and FFA program, and students were excited about the opportunity of success. This legacy Cowtown holds a magic of history, grit, and charm which is truly enchanting. Plus, a champion mindset spurs new and innovative ideas to allow our FFA program to grow and reach new goals sparking student growth and community engagement.

Ellsworth Jr/Sr High School Counselor

"Twenty-one years ago, I graduated from Ellsworth High School on a mission to leave my hometown and spread my wings. My family and I chose to "Come home" this past school year. Our family was looking for a place that has a STRONG community foundation of support, a wide variety of activities in the schools and area, is a safe haven for my four kids to play and grow, and expectations and hard work is the standard. Statistically, Ellsworth is a solid school foundation for kids. For the past 15 years I have worked in education working with students K-12. Even though my start wasn't in the field of education, I have grown to love the world of being a school counselor. Teachers in Ellsworth truly love the students and staff that they work with. I have gained a sense of family with my co-workers. Our Student Council is incredibly involved with the morale of our school. This year the students have been helping to address student mental health and how to help care for each other. Strong athletic programs, FFA programs, recreational programs are just a few of the amazing things I see happening here. The administration is committed to supporting teachers and making Ellsworth and USD 327 even stronger. I would love to work with you and help you join in what is growing and a great place to be!
