Late Start Wednesday - School will start at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 13th, to allow staff to participate in staff development. Doors will open 2 hours later than normal. Breakfast will not be served. Bus routes will run 2 hours later than normal.
Happy Veterans Day! EES is proud to have a partnership with our community veterans. They support us with flag education as well as giving financially to make sure we can enjoy a great theater experience learning about voting and the election. Veterans make a difference at EES!
We are fortunate to have Meredith Vargo, who consistently develops and constructs beautiful and meaningful bulletin boards for everyone to enjoy. She inclusively highlights students’ work and thoughtfully incorporates the changing seasons. Meredith’s dedication and creativity have made her an indispensable part of Ellsworth Elementary School.

Congratulations to the varsity Scholars Bowl team for placing first at the Bennington tournament tonight! Members are Aidan Johnson, Cadence Halfhill, Andrew Hipp, Reygan Coonrod, Dalton Weder, and Emma Withers. Freshman/Sophomore team of Lakyn Beckman, Sage Gray, Brielle Robson, Jane Magie, Hannah Vague, and Jacob Hlaus finished third in pool play.
The Student Council at Ellsworth Jr Sr High School will be hosting a Staff and Student Dodgeball Tournament on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 7:30pm-9pm in the EJSHS Gym. Student teams will compete for the title of champion in this event that serves as a fundraiser for the Ellsworth County Christmas Store and the Ellsworth County Food Bank. Gate fee will be $2 per person. Snacks and drinks will also be available at a concession stand.
In addition to the tournament, patrons are encouraged to bring in a donation of a jar of peanut butter. All who donate will be entered into a drawing for a free Take & Bake Meal provided by the FCCLA group.
