Immunizations

The Ellsworth County Health Department will be holding an Immunization Clinic for  high school required immunizations on Wednesday,  December 15th at EJSHS.   If you wish for your child to receive either their Tetanus booster or Meningococcal immunizations, the consent forms and information will be made available on the district website soon.   The signed consent forms will be due back to the HS office no later than December 10th.   A Tetanus booster and Meningococcal are both required for entry into 7th grade and then a 2nd Meningococcal is required for entry into 11th grade. (If the first dose of Meningococcal is received at age 16-18, only 1 dose is required.)  Letters will be sent to those students who don't have record of current immunizations on file in the health office.  If you are unsure if your child is in need of any  immunizations, you can call Nurse Bonnie , the Health Department, or your child's primary care provider.
