USD 327 is accepting resumes for two (2) positions at Ellsworth Elementary School, grades Kindergarten-4th grade, for the 2020-2021 school year.
Qualified individuals should possess the following credentials/qualities:
- Hold a current and appropriate Kansas teaching license or qualify for and receive the initial teaching license at the appropriate grade level and/or in the assigned subject matter
- Be able to create a classroom environment that is conductive to learning
- Implement lesson plans that actively engage students and provide for the individual needs of students through a variety of appropriate teaching strategies and techniques
- Promote high standards for student performance, positive peer interactions and appropriate social behavior
- Work cooperatively with other school personnel and parents/guardians
- Adhere to USD 327 Board of Education approved policies and regulations
- Maintain open lines of communications with administrative personnel keeping them informed of issues potentially requiring their attention
- Be flexible and be able to perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal
- Effective communication skills
