Lady Bearcats tennis finish 1st at home opener junior varsity invitational! The team accumulated 67 points. 2nd place, Phillipsburg finished with 53, while 3rd place Salina South earned 51 points.
Emma Salyers and Eva Neuman went 3-0 to finish 1st in #1 doubles. Charlotte Bettenbrock finished 2nd with a 2-1 record in #1 singles. Freshman, Chrissy Conley and Roselyn Nienke also went 3-0 and finished 1st as #2 doubles. Freshman, Sophie Homolka also finished 1st in #2 singles in her first ever tennis meet with a 3-0 record.
Ashlyn Schwerdtfeger and Emma Withers played tough matches as unattached players for the Lady Bearcats as well.
Next meets for the lady cats are at home with varsity home opener tomorrow at 1pm! JV home again on Thursday!
