EHS MUSIC DEPARMENT PRESENTS “TROUBLE AT THE TROPICABANA”

You’re at Ricky’s club as he gets ready to sign a contract with movie mogul heiress Celia B. DeMilo. But, is Celia who she claims to be? Will Lucy and Ethel ruin Ricky’s big chance with another harebrained scheme to get into show business? What’s the notorious gangster Mr. Big doing at Ricky’s club? And — most importantly — who committed the murder?

These questions and more will be answered during Ellsworth High School Music Departments production of “Trouble at the Tropicabana.” The HIT musical, murder-mystery, is coming to the Ellsworth High School Performing Arts Center, November 12-13, 2009.

This production features the characters from “I Love Lucy” in a who-done-it at Ricky’s club. “The students are very excited about the opportunity to experience Latino music, dancing, and singing. We have a wonderful cast of hard working kids, please come check out the show and support music education in Ellsworth,” said David Wiggins, Musical Director.
