Mrs.
Emilie Penner graduated Ellsworth High School in 1998. She attended Kansas
State University and received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Human
Ecology/Family and Consumer Science Education. After graduation, Mrs. Penner taught for two years at Junction City High School and one year at Salina
South Middle School. At Junction City High School, she taught Foods I,
Foods II and Living on Your Own. She was also the KAY club sponsor and the
assistant girls swim coach. She taught an introductory course to both 7th
and 8th grade students at Salina South Middle School. She is currently
teaching Family Living, Nutrition, Parenting, Basic Foods, Apparel I and Apparel
II at EHS.
Along with teaching at EHS, Mrs. Penner enjoys spending time with family and friends, interior decorating, swimming and supporting the K-State Wildcats. Mrs. Penner married her husband, Raymond, on June 5, 2004. They reside in Ellsworth with their two daughters: Saraya and Hadyn.
