Mr. Dale Brungardt is in his ninth year as principal of EJSH.  As a graduate of Victoria High School, he attended FHSU for a couple of years before enlisting in the United States Air Force, as a Nuclear Lab Technician. Upon completion of his enlistment, he returned to finish his schooling at FHSU. Dale graduated in 1994 from FHSU with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Physics. In 2001, Mr. Brungardt completed his M.S. in Educational Administration; a year later he signed on with Ellsworth.   

Dale was in the classroom for 8 years, a majority of that time was spent at Phillipsburg High School. He has also taught at Hays High School. At Phillipsburg he taught Geometry, Applied Math, Physics and Calculus.  Mr. Brungardt coached Middle School Football and High School Boys Basketball. He was a junior class sponsor and member of the instructional cabinet.

Dale has been married to Beth for 21 years and has 4 children: Ryan is 17, Kaley is 15, Jeanae is 10 years old and Jaret is 7.  Mr. Brungardt likes to spend time woodworking, spending time with family and looking up at airplanes and stars.
