Mrs. Traughber grew up on a farm outside of Smith Center, Kansas with her mom, dad, and older brother.  During high school she was active in sports and other school activities.  Growing up, she always knew she wanted to be a teacher.  After high school, she attended Bethany College where she received a degree in Elementary Education.  Mrs. Traughber has taught at Ellsworth Elementary School for her whole career, including 3 years as a 5^th grade teacher and currently as a 3^rd grade teacher.  Mrs. Traughber enjoys spending time with her husband Shane, dog Jaci, and the rest of her family.  She keeps busy watching her husband coach baseball and basketball, church activities, working out, reading, and trying to be the best teacher she can be.
