Mr. Reid attended USD 327 schools from 2^nd-12^th grades. He graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1992 and four years later earned his diploma from K-State. After graduation, Eric taught two years in Missouri, and four years in Fowler, KS. A true athlete, Mr. Reid coached cross country, football, basketball, and golf. He worked at Haviland, KS for three years as PreK-12 Principal. In 2006, he joined the EES staff as K-5 principal in the fall. He is married to Amy and has three children, Jacey (8), Leah (3), and Tate (0). During his off-time he enjoys golf and X-box.

Mr. Reid says, "I have enjoyed my return to Ellsworth.  It is awesome to work in the community that I grew up in and to work with many people I’ve known for a long time.  I’m fortunate to be able to raise my family in such a community.  The staff, students, and parents that I am blessed to work with are wonderful to work with.  We provide a top quality education to all kids; there is no better place to be!!"
