   Countries WebQuest Project

 Introduction

There are over 180 countries in the world.  Each one of them is unique and different.  Traveling to strange and different places can be exciting and fun.  With so many countries it is hard to decide what country to visit.  You will need to decide which country you want to visit for your free vacation.

Task

Research a country to see if you would like to go visit.  You will need to know where it is, what language the people speak, what kind of money they use, what the capital city is, the customs of the people, and what things you want to see once you get there.  There are lots of ways to find out these things.

Take notes
Over the next few weeks we will be learning about many different ways to get information. Record each piece of information on a note card.  Print a copy of this card form, make a card using this form, or get cards from your teacher.

Note Card

The library has many different resources. You will need to get a least one piece of information about your country from each of the sources that we will be studying.  You may collect more than one note from a source but you MUST have 1  note from each of these sources. Use a different note card for each piece of information.
